'Loneliness has made us express ourselves in another language' Nu Nu is the only theatre company in the UK to study the professional actors who use English as their second language in performance.
It means No No.
Nu Nu Platform?
A two-faced entity, made up by a theatre company – Nu Nu Theatre Company – and the research base Centre for Actors in a Second Language – CASL.
Nu Nu presents work with actors/performers who express themselves in a non-native language. Ileana Gherghina, the director, conducts the work using ‘the childlike approach’ technique.
